Mineral Wool Insulation

Mineral Wool Insulation

Made from rock, blast furnace slag, and other raw materials which are melted and spun into fibers to resemble the texture of wool. Mineral wool inhibits the spread of fires because mineral wool fibers are non-combustible, with melting temperatures in excess of 1900 F. Mineral wool is also are good for thermal and acoustic insulation because it traps air to reduce thermal and sound transfer.
