Pacor’s waterjet, CNC and die cutting capabilities enable the purchase of insulation pre-cut to your specifications. Contact a Pacor insulation specialist today to find out if Pacor’s cutting capability is the solution to your insulation needs.
Pacor has a wide variety of cutting methods to suit various needs. Pacor’s waterjet cutting provides prototype parts or low quantity orders. Pacor’s autocutter machines are used to cut high quantities of parts having minimal small details. Pacor’s die cut presses are used to cut parts having small details, requiring a tight tolerance, or for accurately cutting multiple layers in high-volume orders. Pacor’s sheeters easily cut panels to your specifications. Pacor’s cutting equipment can easily handle fabrication of fiberglass, foam and aerogel insulation; cloth, foil, and plastic materials.
Pacor uses customer prints or CAD files to create cutting programs for our machines. Just send over the file, and Pacor will transfer the details directly to the machines. Alternatively, customers may provide the part requiring insulation – as a sample, drawing, or CAD model – and Pacor can design the insulation panels required. Pacor will work with you to determine the optimal insulation required for your application.
From small medical devices to massive power plant turbines, Pacor can cut insulating materials to the size and shape that you need.
Avoid a second step and cut down on lead time by combining material purchase with custom fabrication. Cut out a design step by asking our engineers to recommend the proper insulation and fit for your product.
Pacor’s equipment is suitable to cut any shape you require as the stock material will permit. Typical roll stock is supplied in 48″ – 60″ widths, varying according to the product line. Material thicknesses and thickness tolerances are specified by the insulation manufacturer.
