Pacor Inc. UltraGard® precut aerogel insulation combines the best of both worlds: All the advantages of revolutionary aerogel insulation in an easy-to-use, precut form for pipe wrap. Designed for the refinery and chemical processing industries, UltraGard pipe wrap insulation cuts energy loss and extends pipe rack efficiencies in piping systems.
Aerogels are 2 to 8 times more efficient than traditional insulation materials. Environmentally safe, aerogel insulation features reduced thickness which results in a very thin profile, making it ideal for a wide variety of pipe wrapping situations. Aerogels are also hydrophobic, with excellent resistance to moisture.
