Sales Support Customer Care Manager NCR 2011-12 02
Location: Gastonia, NC
FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for managing the inside sales support team in order to timely and effectively respond to the requests and requirements of the outside sales team, prospects and customers, both internal and external. This position will also participate in contract administration and maintenance, interface with customers, and serve as a liaison between plant leadership and the sales support team.
DUTIES:
1.0 Direct and coordinate the customer support activities of Pacor as it relates to:
1.1 Providing customers technical services in conjunction with outside sales and product management
1.2 Confer with production to assist in specific classification of products from quality assurance position and discuss prospect and new customer specifications
1.3 Direct investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications and the delivered condition of products.
2.0 Forecasts and assigns resources needed to assure completion of RFQ's, projects and other tasks.
3.0 Collaborates with associates to develop solution to a diverse scope of problems and events and communicates the results to all parties involved.
3.1 Records, analyzes and informs leadership of disposition of customer complaints and claims
3.2 Makes decisions in accordance with established procedures and policies
4.0 Insures sales support functions partner with production and outside sales to support customer needs
5.0 Establishes and monitors estimating metrics to support strategic sales initiatives for turn around time, margin and accuracy.
5.1 Creates, analyzes and follows up on key indicators and report to DOS
6.0 Lead RFQ team
7.0 Develop sales support associates
Qualifications:
Prefer candidates with a BS degree in business or related field, and 3 years of supervisory or management experience in an inside sales/customer service role or estimating supervisor role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, CAD (Solidworks), ERP/MRP software. Familiarity with fabricated insulation materials and products helpful. Knowledge of drafting, blueprints, estimating.
