Encapsulation Services

Pacor uses impulse heating to encapsulate cut pieces of insulation between sheets of polyurethane, foil, or pressure sensitive adhesive. Pacor can also encapsulate insulation between materials that you specify provided that the thermal and safety characteristics of the material are compatible with the equipment.

Custom Fabrication

Pacor uses customer prints or CAD files to design the tooling needed for the encapsulated product. Just send over the file, and Pacor will fabricate your request. Alternatively, customers may provide the part requiring insulation - as a sample, drawing, or CAD model - and Pacor can design the encapsulated insulation product required. Pacor will work with you to determine the optimal insulation and encapsulation materials required for your application.

Specifications

Pacor’s equipment is suitable to encapsulate any shape you require within the limits of 16″×20″×2″. The typical flange requirement is 3/8″. Cutouts designed in encapsulated parts should allow enough room for a flange. Maximum temperature limits on encapsulated parts vary according to the components.
